Outfielder, 1949, 1951-1957, 1960-1963. Inducted 1965.
Was a pitcher in the minors before converting to an outfielder in 1949, the year of his first call-up. Known for hitting long home runs, he sits at number 11 at the Reds all-time homer list. In 1955, he played every game on the Reds’ schedule.
