Second baseman, 1924-1930.  Inducted 1962.

Good hitter and excellent fielder for some underwhelming Reds teams.  In his first major league game, he had two hits off Hall of Fame pitcher Grover Cleveland Alexander, en route to a .300+ batting average.  Finished second in MVP voting in 1926, when he hit .270 and drove in 79 while  leading the league’s second basemen in fielding percentage and assists.
