Third baseman, 1913-1921. Inducted 1963.
Considered by many to be the best third baseman of his era. Led the league in on-base percentage twice , in doubles twice, and in 3B fielding percentage twice while a Red (as well as three other times in his career). Captain of the 1919 World Series champion squad. Famous for his unusually shaped “bottle bat.”
