Myers

Shortstop, 1935-1940. Inducted 1966.

Became a strong defensive shortstop over his 6 seasons with the Reds, particularly known for reading runners well.  Served as team captain for the strong late 1930s teams.  His sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 7th inning in game 7 of the 1940 World Series would ultimately make the difference in the game and the Series.
