White

Right-handed pitcher, 1878-1880, 1882-1886. Inducted 2004.

Played for two different iterations of the Reds: first the National League’s Cincinnati Reds, then the American Association’s Cincinnati Redlegs.  Twice led the league in strikeouts, twice in wins (with over 40 each season!), and once in ERA.  Holds the major league season records for most games started (75), most complete games (75), and innings pitched (680). First player to wear glasses on the field.
