Herrmann

Executive, 1902-1927. Inducted 2008.

Oversaw the construction of Redland/Crosley Field and presided over the club during its first World Series victory in 1919.  As chairman of the National Baseball Commission, which many consider the precursor to the modern commissioner’s office, Herrmann oversaw the development of the postseason World Series.
